If you tend to overuse salt like I do, I have a simple solution for you: mustard. I use it on everything, not just sandwiches for my child, but also meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, and more.
However, there is a problem with most mustards. They often contain sugar and wheat flour, which are not ingredients you want in your food.
A couple of months ago, I checked every single mustard in the three biggest supermarkets in the UK. I went through them all, and guess what? Only one mustard had a clean label.

It contains just water, spirit vinegar, mustard seed, and salt. Yes, there is a bit of salt, but trust me, it is still far less than what I usually add to my food.
I’m guessing the spirit vinegar acts as a natural acidity regulator, not the citric acid you often find added. There are no thickeners included.
They have also added some flavourings, which I am okay with, because otherwise the mustard would be way too vinegary.
So there you have it, the cleanest mustard on the market.
