Sustainable Apple Cider Vinegar

For a better future and a cleaner earth, sustainability is our main focus.

Sustainable Apple Cider Vinegar

I’d like to tell you where we get our raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to make our capsules.

I was repeatedly asked if it comes from a sustainable source. you have every right to know.

You could easily find raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the mother in liquid form.

However, it is rare to have the raw, unfiltered version in a capsule.

When we were looking for the raw version, we looked near and far in Europe. We scanned the map!

But to our absolute surprise, we found it local to us in Suffolk.

Apple trees are grown and nurtured in Suffolk, which means definitely no GMO apples from outside the UK.

Apples are pressed and blended in the same factory. The vinegar itself is also made in Suffolk.

When we found that vinegar, we thought... a UK-made ingredient, a drive of 2 hours from us, that’s low carbon footprint.

This means very environmentally-friendly logistics.

Our manufacturer is even closer to us in Tunbridge Wells.

Our apple cider vinegar capsules can not be more sustainable than that.

There is another factor that we were keen to nail.

Apple growers in Suffolk do not use any intensive farming systems.

We know that the widespread of those techniques is quite alarming now because they mean loss of soil through depletion and the decreased nutritional quality of apples themselves.

Instead, farmers in Suffolk use traditional agriculture that protects, not only the soil that produces the apples, but the whole ecological environment of Suffolk.

Facility in the UK

On the other hand, our facility in the UK uses 100% recyclable, green processes.

We use 100% renewable, green energy - a UK first - in production.

This green energy is coming from wind and solar sources.

The energy used to power the factory is called Ecotricity and it’s approved by the Vegan Society.

All of our packaging uses fully-recyclable or biodegradable materials and we have a robust recycling policy.
