The reason is we use acid-resistant capsules that massively increase collagen absorption.
When we consume collagen, whether a tablet, capsule, powder or liquid, the stomach WILL destroy the collagen protein because regular capsules dissolve within 30 minutes in the stomach before the collagen gets a chance to go to the small intestine.
However, our acid-resistant capsule allows the collagen to pass through the stomach undamaged, move down the digestive tract to the small intestine.
The pH level goes up, it becomes less acidic, and this triggers a change in the capsule structure itself that causes the shell to break down and release the collagen in the small intestine to be FULLY absorbed.
It's essential to note that the small intestine, not the stomach, is the place where nutrients get their maximum absorption.
